  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the orzo pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain it well.
Assembly and Baking
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked orzo, shredded chicken, chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream.
  2. Stir in 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
