- Wash and trim the green beans, then mince the garlic cloves.

- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the trimmed green beans and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp.
- Stir in the minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic. A squeeze of fresh lemon juice at the end brightens the flavor.
