  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons neutral oil (e.g., vegetable, canola) optional, for thinning if needed

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, unsweetened cocoa powder, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Stir all ingredients thoroughly until they are well combined and the mixture is smooth and consistent.
  3. If the mixture is too thick for your liking, add 1-2 tablespoons of neutral oil and stir until the desired consistency is achieved.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or cocoa flavor if necessary by adding a tiny bit more powdered sugar or cocoa powder, mixing well after each addition.
Storage
  1. Transfer the homemade chocolate peanut butter to an airtight container and store it at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 weeks.

Notes

Please note that chocolate peanut butter is a manufactured food product and cannot actually be "grown" like a plant. This recipe provides instructions to "make" it at home. The "5 days" mentioned in the original request is not applicable to the preparation time, which is much shorter, but you can enjoy it over 5 days or longer!
