Honey Mustard BLT Chicken Sliders

  • 2 cups Chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 12 count Slider buns
  • 6 strips Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 12 small Lettuce leaves
  • 2 medium Tomato, sliced
Honey Mustard Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by preparing your honey mustard sauce. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Assemble the sliders by separating the slider buns. Spread a thin layer of the honey mustard sauce on both the top and bottom halves of each bun.
  3. Layer the cooked shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, a lettuce leaf, and a tomato slice onto the bottom half of each bun. Place the top bun back on.
Bake
  1. Arrange the assembled sliders on a baking sheet. You can optionally brush the tops of the slider buns with a little melted butter for extra golden-brown perfection.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the buns are lightly toasted and the sliders are warmed through.

Notes

Feel free to customize these sliders with your favorite cheese or a different type of bun. For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the honey mustard sauce.
