- Wash the zucchini thoroughly and trim off both ends.
- Using a spiralizer, vegetable peeler, or julienne slicer, transform the zucchini into noodle-like strands; a spiralizer is recommended for the best results.
- Place the zucchini noodles in a colander, sprinkle with salt, and let them sit for 10-15 minutes to draw out excess water, then gently pat them dry with paper towels.
Notes
For firmer zoodles, gently sauté them in a pan with a little olive oil for 2-3 minutes. Avoid overcooking to maintain their slightly crisp texture.
