Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Fettuccine pasta
  • 1.5 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped optional, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Skillet
  • Whisk
  • Tongs

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Boil fettuccine pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside. In a large skillet, cook diced chicken breasts until browned and thoroughly cooked through.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then whisk in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually add heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until the sauce is smooth and reaches your desired thickness.
  3. Add the cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce and toss gently until everything is evenly coated. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For an even richer and creamier sauce, ensure your heavy cream is at room temperature before adding it to avoid splitting. You can also add a pinch of nutmeg to enhance the flavor of the Alfredo sauce.
