Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the drained whole kernel corn, creamed corn, sour cream, melted butter, and cornbread mix; stir until well combined.
  3. Pour the corn mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  5. Remove the casserole from the oven, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, and return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
