Preparation
- In a medium bowl, whisk together lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, chopped oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag, pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it's fully coated, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for best flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F/190-200°C) and lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
Cooking
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, discarding any excess marinade, and place the chicken breasts on the preheated grill.
- Grill for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is cooked through with nice grill marks.
Serving
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing or serving, allowing the juices to redistribute for a more tender result.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the marinade for a subtle kick. Serve with your favorite side dishes like rice, salad, or grilled vegetables.
