  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and chicken broth, bringing the sauce to a simmer.
  2. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken, allowing it to heat through. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with rice, pasta, or your favorite steamed vegetables. For extra zing, add a pinch of lemon zest to the sauce.
