Ingredients

Crust
  • 1 package graham crackers (180g), crushed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (50g)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (113g), melted
Filling
  • 2 blocks cream cheese (8 oz each), softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (200g)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream (360ml), cold

Equipment

  • 9-inch springform pan
  • Large mixing bowls
  • Electric mixer (hand or stand)
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Spatula

Method

Preparation
  1. To prepare the crust, combine crushed graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter, then press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and refrigerate.
  2. For the filling, beat softened cream cheese until smooth, gradually adding sugar and vanilla extract, then whip cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form and gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Assemble by pouring the cream cheese filling over the chilled crust, spreading evenly, and refrigerating for at least 4-6 hours or preferably overnight until set.

Notes

For best results, allow the cheesecake to chill thoroughly for at least 6 hours or overnight; this ensures a firm and sliceable texture.
