- Clean the mushrooms thoroughly with a damp cloth or paper towel, then slice them evenly.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat, ensuring it covers the bottom of the pan.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release their moisture and start to brown.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
- Season the mushrooms with salt and black pepper to taste, then stir in the fresh parsley.
- Serve the sautéed mushrooms immediately as a side dish or appetizer.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a splash of white wine or a dash of balsamic vinegar after the mushrooms have browned, just before adding the garlic.
