Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  4. Beat in the egg, orange zest, and orange extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined and a soft dough forms.
  6. Divide the dough equally into three portions and roll each portion into a ball.
  7. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart, and gently flatten each ball with the palm of your hand.
Baking
  1. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set.
  2. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
