Marinade

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
Main
  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 medium carrots, julienned
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 5 cups cooked rice for serving
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Preparation
  1. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and minced garlic in a bowl to create the marinade.
  2. Add the thinly sliced sirloin steak to the marinade, ensuring it is well coated, then let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, then add the marinated steak in batches and sear quickly until browned and cooked through.
  2. Remove the steak and set it aside, then add broccoli, carrots, and onion to the same skillet and stir-fry until tender-crisp.
  3. Return the steak to the skillet with the vegetables and toss everything together to combine and heat thoroughly.
