  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 carrots sliced
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 2 garlic minced

Equipment

  • large skillet or wok
  • small bowl

Method

Preparation
  1. Prepare all ingredients by cutting the chicken into strips, slicing the carrots, and mincing the garlic and grating the ginger.
  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic in a small bowl to create the stir-fry sauce.
Cooking
  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat with a tablespoon of oil.
  2. Add the chicken strips to the hot skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, then remove from the skillet.
  3. Add the broccoli florets and sliced carrots to the same skillet and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the vegetables.
  5. Pour the prepared stir-fry sauce over the chicken and vegetables, tossing to coat everything evenly.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and coat the ingredients.
