Preparation
- Prepare all ingredients by cutting the chicken into strips, slicing the carrots, and mincing the garlic and grating the ginger.
- Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic in a small bowl to create the stir-fry sauce.
Cooking
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat with a tablespoon of oil.
- Add the chicken strips to the hot skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, then remove from the skillet.
- Add the broccoli florets and sliced carrots to the same skillet and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the vegetables.
- Pour the prepared stir-fry sauce over the chicken and vegetables, tossing to coat everything evenly.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and coat the ingredients.
Serving
- Serve the chicken stir fry immediately over rice or noodles, if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving. Adjust the amount of honey to your sweetness preference. You can also add other vegetables like bell peppers or snow peas.
