Salad
  • 6 cups Iceberg lettuce
  • 3 cups Romaine lettuce
  • 2 breasts Chicken breast cooked and diced
  • 4 strips Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 Hard-boiled eggs chopped
  • 1 Avocado diced
  • 1 Tomato chopped
  • 0.5 cup Blue cheese crumbled
Dressing
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper

Method
 

Salad Preparation
  1. Wash and chop the iceberg and romaine lettuces, then set them aside in a large salad bowl.
  2. Cook the chicken breast, then dice it and set aside.
  3. Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it and set aside.
  4. Hard-boil the eggs, peel, and chop them.
  5. Dice the avocado and chop the tomato.
  6. Arrange the diced chicken, crumbled bacon, chopped eggs, diced avocado, chopped tomato, and crumbled blue cheese in separate rows over the lettuce in the salad bowl.
Dressing Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, water, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Pour the dressing over the salad just before serving, and toss gently to combine.

Notes

For best results, prepare the dressing just before serving to maintain freshness. You can also customize the salad with other vegetables like red onion or cucumber if desired.
