Main Ingredients
  • 4 each Salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 large Lemon, zest and juice
  • 2 tbsp Fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Small Bowl
  • Tongs

Method

Prepare a delicious marinade
  1. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped dill, chopped parsley, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Season the salmon generously
  1. Place salmon fillets on a plate or in a shallow dish. Evenly spread the prepared marinade over both sides of each salmon fillet, ensuring they are well coated.
Allow the fish to absorb flavors
  1. Let the salmon marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature, or cover and refrigerate for up to 30 minutes for a deeper flavor.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat
  1. Ensure your grill grates are clean; lightly oil them to prevent the salmon from sticking during cooking.
Grill the salmon to perfection
  1. Place the marinated salmon fillets, skin-side down (if applicable), on the preheated grill. Cook for 4-6 minutes per side, or until the salmon is flaky and cooked through.
Rest the salmon before serving
  1. Once cooked, carefully remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a moist and flavorful result.

Notes

For best results, ensure your grill grates are clean and well-oiled to prevent sticking. Don't overcook the salmon; it should be flaky but still moist.
