  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Crockpot
  • Whisk
  • Medium bowl
  • Forks (optional, for shredding)

Method

Preparation

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken thighs in the crockpot.
Cooking
  1. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  2. Once cooked, you can shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crockpot.
Serving
  1. Serve the shredded chicken with your favorite sides, such as rice or steamed vegetables.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in the sauce for at least 30 minutes before cooking. You can also thicken the sauce by mixing 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water and stirring it into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
