Quick Cranberry Sauce

Instructions
  1. Combine cranberries, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool completely before serving. The sauce will thicken further as it cools.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of orange zest or a cinnamon stick during cooking. This sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
