Preparation
- Wash and thoroughly dry the romaine lettuce, then finely chop it and place it into a large salad bowl.
- Thinly slice the green onions and finely chop the fresh dill, then add both to the bowl with the lettuce.
- Crumble the feta cheese and evenly distribute it over the lettuce, green onions, and dill.
Dressing and Serving
- In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Serve immediately as a refreshing side dish.
Notes
For an extra tang, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to the dressing. You can also toast some pita bread and cut it into croutons for added crunch and flavor.
