Ingredients
  

Main Dough
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup warm water (105-115 degrees F)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
For Brushing (Optional)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Gradually add the warm water and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
Baking
  1. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each into a round roll.
  2. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and let them rise in a warm place for 10-15 minutes, or until they have doubled in size.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Bake the rolls for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
  5. Optionally, brush the warm rolls with melted butter for added flavor and shine.
