Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz Lump Crab Meat drained and flaked
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • Olive Oil Spray for air fryer
Dipping Sauce (Optional)
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Sriracha or to taste
  • 1 tsp Lime Juice

Equipment

  • Medium Bowl
  • Air Fryer
  • Small Bowl (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, gently combine the flaked crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, half of the panko breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, and beaten egg.
  2. Form the mixture into 5 equal-sized bites or patties, then gently roll each bite in the remaining panko breadcrumbs to coat evenly.
Air Frying
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Carefully place the crab bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  3. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the crab bites are golden brown and heated through.
Serving (Optional Dipping Sauce)
  1. While the crab bites are cooking, prepare the dipping sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, sriracha, and lime juice in a small bowl.
  2. Serve the hot air fryer crab bites immediately with the optional dipping sauce.

Notes

Adjust Old Bay seasoning and Sriracha to your preferred spice level. For a crispier exterior, you can lightly mist the crab bites with olive oil spray before air frying. Ensure the crab meat is well-drained to prevent soggy bites.
