  • 1 Large egg
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Mixing
  1. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork, then stir in the granulated sugar.
  2. Beat in the egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined; do not overmix.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  2. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean.
Cooling
  1. Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
