Cooking Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
- While pasta cooks, season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken until browned and cooked through, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
- Add the cooked chicken and drained fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the Alfredo sauce. Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg to the Alfredo sauce. Fresh parsley makes a great garnish. Make sure to reserve some pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.
