Prepare the Salad
- Combine sliced cucumbers and red onion in a medium bowl.
Make the Dressing
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, and salt until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
Combine and Serve
- Pour the dressing over the cucumber and onion mixture.
- Add chopped fresh dill and toss gently to combine.
- Serve immediately, or chill for 15-30 minutes for a colder salad.
Notes
For best results, allow the salad to chill for at least 15 minutes in the refrigerator before serving. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully. You can also add a pinch of black pepper for an extra kick!
