  • 1 tsp Honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds for garnish

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey or maple syrup, and minced garlic to create the sauce.
Cooking
  1. Add the broccoli florets to the bowl with the sauce and toss until they are evenly coated.
  2. Spread the coated broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes, or until tender-crisp and slightly caramelized.
  3. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving for added flavor and texture.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can broil the broccoli for the last 2-3 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning. Adjust the amount of gochujang to your preferred spice level.
