Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 fillets salmon fillets
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 lemon sliced
  • 4 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Small bowl
  • Tongs

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels; this helps achieve a crispy skin.
  3. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, chopped fresh dill, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create the seasoning mixture.
Grilling
  1. Brush both sides of each salmon fillet generously with the prepared seasoning mixture.
  2. Place the seasoned salmon fillets directly on the preheated grill, skin-side down if applicable.
  3. Grill for 4-6 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Serve immediately with fresh lemon slices as a garnish.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the olive oil and spice mixture for 15-30 minutes before grilling. You can also add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the salmon before serving to enhance its taste.
