Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds for garnish
Optional
  • 2 stalks green onions chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • oven
  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • large bowl

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Marinating and Baking
  1. In a large bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the bowl, toss them to ensure they are evenly coated, and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes for more flavor.
  3. Arrange the marinated wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Finishing Touches
  1. Once baked, remove the wings from the oven, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

For crispier wings, broil for the last 2-3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning. Adjust honey and soy sauce to taste for your preferred sweetness and saltiness.
