  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 container whipped topping (8 oz), thawed

Preparation
  1. Prepare the instant vanilla pudding mix according to package directions, using 3 cups of milk. Whisk until smooth and set aside to thicken.
  2. In a large bowl or trifle dish, create the first layer by arranging half of the vanilla wafers at the bottom.
  3. Place half of the sliced bananas evenly over the wafers.
  4. Carefully spread half of the prepared vanilla pudding over the bananas, ensuring an even coat.
  5. Add a layer of half of the thawed whipped topping over the pudding, spreading it gently.
  6. Repeat the layering process with the remaining wafers, bananas, pudding, and whipped topping.
  7. Cover the banana pudding and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the wafers to soften before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, garnish with additional vanilla wafers or banana slices just before serving. This pudding is best enjoyed chilled and allowed to set properly.
