- Drain the can of tuna thoroughly into a small mixing bowl and use a fork to flake the tuna apart.
- Add mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, and diced red onion (if using) to the flaked tuna, then season with salt and black pepper.
- Stir all the ingredients together until well combined and the tuna salad has a creamy consistency.
- Spoon the tuna salad mixture evenly onto two slices of bread, then top with the remaining bread slices to complete the sandwiches.

For an extra kick, try adding a dash of hot sauce or a pinch of dill to your tuna salad mix!
