Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grab a large oven-safe casserole dish.
- Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until it's browned, then drain any excess grease.
Assembly
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheddar cheese, mixed vegetables, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper with the cooked beef.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain them well.
- Add the cooked and drained egg noodles to the beef mixture and mix everything thoroughly.
- Transfer the entire mixture into your prepared casserole dish and spread it evenly.
Baking
- Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until it is bubbly and heated through.
- For a golden crust, you can sprinkle a little extra shredded cheddar cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.
Serving
- Carefully remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a dash of Worcestershire sauce to the ground beef while it's cooking.
