Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grab a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the baking dish.
Sauce preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, dried onion soup mix, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken breasts in the baking dish.
Baking
  1. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  2. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil.
  3. Continue baking for another 5-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Serving
  1. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
