Method
 

Planting and Growing
  1. Fill three 10-gallon pots with potting soil, ensuring good drainage.
  2. Plant several red pepper pasta seeds in each pot, about 1 inch deep, and water them thoroughly.
  3. Place the pots in a location where they will receive 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
  4. Water regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, and fertilize with a slow-release fertilizer as needed.
  5. Monitor for growth and harvest the ripe red pepper pasta strands when they reach the desired length and color.
Preparing the Pasta (Optional Sauce)
  1. If making sauce, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they break down, then season with salt, pepper, and fresh basil.
  3. Once harvested, boil the red pepper pasta strands in salted water until al dente.
